Don Lemon has alleged that JD Vance might be disclosing secrets of the White House and Donald Trump. The accusation comes after multiple insider accounts of the Trump administration have surfaced recently. Speaking on a podcast, Lemon gave his thoughts on the reported leaks, pointing a finger at the Vice President.
Don Lemon says JD Vance is ‘biggest leaker’
During a recent appearance on the Legal AF podcast, Don Lemon commented on Donald Trump’s mounting frustration with reported leaks from within his administration. There has been a recent report, revealing a Situation Room “freakout” over Jeffrey Epstein files.
Speaking with host Michael Popok, Lemon alleged, “J.D. Vance is like the biggest leaker of them all.” The former CNN anchor explained that the conclusion is based on what “many people have said and according to some of the reporting.” He also claimed that Trump himself could be responsible for a few leaks.
“Donald Trump could very well be one of the people who leaked to Maggie Haberman,” Lemon suggested, referring to New York Times journalists Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan’s upcoming book, Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump.
However, Lemon singled out Vance as the “biggest leaker,” claiming that the reports often paint him in a good light. He went on to cite the report of Vance being one of the only senior officials who raised concerns about Trump’s military action against Iran.
“Remember, the reporting was that JD Vance was the only one in the room who was against it,” Lemon noted. He then questioned, “It’s like, well, how does JD Vance always come out looking better than anyone?”
At one point, Lemon also praised Regime Change co-author Haberman and her coverage of Trump, calling her “the gold standard of reporters.” He said, “I think they’re up against the full Justice Department and there’s gonna be a big shakeup.” Lemon added, “So look out to see possibly some indictments coming for them. I hope it doesn’t happen, but that’s what I think.”
