Nicole Kidman paid tribute to her ex-husband, Keith Urban, on Father’s Day, acknowledging his contribution to their two daughters. This comes six months after the pair finalized their divorce.
In an Instagram story for Father’s Day, Kidman posted a pair of split-screen photos, one depicting a young Kidman with her father, Dr. Antony Kidman, and one depicting Urban carrying both their daughters on his back. She captioned the story, “Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers.”
Kidman and Urban, who were married for 19 years, share two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15. After a long marriage, the pair decided to split in 2025. The actress was also very close to her father, Dr. Antony Kidman, who passed away in 2014. She also shared a close bond with her mother, who died in 2024. “Life is, whew. It’s definitely a journey. And it hits you as you get older,” Kidman said about her parents’ death to GQ. “If you’re in it and not numbing yourself to it. And I’m in it. Fully in it.”
Kidman also notably shares two children with Hollywood legend Tom Cruise. However, she did not seem to pay tribute to her Eyes Wide Shut co-star in the post. Despite the recent turmoil in her personal life, Kidman continues to be active in the industry with a handful of projects. She will soon appear in Practical Magic 2 and The Young People.
