Donald Trump’s Latest Polling Carries a Warning for the Midterms

Donald Trump‘s approval rating across the nation appears to still be struggling. The results of a recently conducted survey are now indicating a further decline in numbers. In the build-up to the midterm elections, which will take place in four months, a renowned online opinion polling organization has shared data regarding the public’s perception of the president. Among other categories, the poll also classified Trump’s popularity numbers in different US states, which reflected a net negative rating.

Here’s Donald Trump’s approval rating by states

A recent report published by Civiqs highlighted Donald Trump’s approval rating by US states heading into July 2026. The survey, which factored in responses from 114,094 participants, revealed that even though the president has managed to gain some favor in a few states, his overall approval numbers have remained at under 50%.

Only 36% of the respondents said they approve of what Trump has accomplished in his second term in the White House. Meanwhile, 59% disapproved of the president’s leadership, with 5% choosing a neutral stance.

Donald Trump recorded his worst approval rating in Hawaii, with 78% showing disapproval. The president only managed to score a rating above 50% in eight states, with the remaining states noting a downward trend in his popularity. Here’s a rundown of his approval rating by all US states: –
