According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Monty claims Kaitlyn violated a temporary protective order by repeatedly contacting him despite being instructed not to. He also alleges she has continued posting about Addison and other members of his family across social media.
Among the claims, Monty alleges Kaitlyn shared photos of Addison on her Instagram Stories and used the singer’s music in her posts. He further claims she uploaded old photos of herself and Monty together while asking the public for financial assistance, according to TMZ.
The filing also reportedly describes Kaitlyn’s behavior as “unstable” and asks the court to intervene over what Monty characterizes as continued references to his famous daughter.
The legal dispute follows a short-lived marriage between Monty and Kaitlyn, who reportedly tied the knot in Las Vegas in October 2025 before separating soon after. Since then, their split has escalated into a series of legal disputes, including allegations that resulted in a temporary protective order, according to the outlet.
Kaitlyn, however, reportedly disputes Monty’s characterization of her online activity. According to reports summarized by multiple outlets, she maintains that her social media posts are intended to defend herself publicly and share her side of the story rather than exploit Addison’s fame.
The latest filing adds to Monty’s existing legal challenges. Separate from this dispute, he has also faced an ongoing custody battle and felony obscenity charges in Louisiana involving his former wife, Sheri Easterling, Addison’s mother, according to published reports.
