Prince Harry Faces Brutal ‘Victim’ Claim After Court Loss — Expert

Prince Harry’s recent High Court defeat has sparked fresh criticism from a royal commentator, who argues that the Duke of Sussex has become too closely associated with legal battles and public grievances. The comments come as Harry continues his UK visit for Invictus Games-related engagements, where attention has often shifted from his charitable work to his ongoing disputes.

Expert slams Prince Harry for trying to convince people he is a ‘victim’

Harry recently saw all 14 of his claims in a High Court case dismissed, marking a significant setback in his long-running legal campaign against sections of the British media. Reflecting on the ruling, the commentator argued that the decision could represent a turning point in Harry’s years-long legal efforts. According to the expert, Harry has previously described the media as engaging in unlawful practices, including in his memoir Spare, but the latest judgment did not support the allegations presented in this particular case.

While acknowledging that Prince Harry achieved some success in earlier legal proceedings against the press, the commentator argued that this latest defeat dealt a particularly damaging blow because the court did not uphold any of the 14 alleged instances of unlawful newsgathering. The ruling also reportedly leaves the Duke responsible for substantial legal costs.

The commentator further argued that Harry’s repeated legal disputes have shaped how many people now view him. “Harry’s issue is, he’s spent so long telling us that he is the victim—a victim of the media, a victim of his family, a victim of his position thanks to an accident of birth—that’s all we can see,” the expert claimed. The commentator also acknowledged Harry’s military service, charitable work, and role as a father but suggested those aspects of his public life have often been overshadowed by court proceedings and high-profile disputes.
