Taylor Swift’s Wedding Dress Stayed True to Her Signature Style — Source

Taylor Swift kept her wedding look stylistically close to home, even with a major couture label involved. The pop star married Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden on July 3. A new source said her custom Dior gown included a “long veil and train” and still felt “perfectly Taylor.” The details focused on elegance, continuity, and a bridal look that reportedly stayed true to her familiar style.

According to a PEOPLE report, Taylor Swift wore a custom Christian Dior Haute Couture gown. The gown was designed by Dior’s creative director Jonathan Anderson. A source told the outlet the bridal look was “perfectly Taylor.” The insider said it featured a “long veil and train.” Then, the source added, “She looked so beautiful.” The same insider said the dress “didn’t stray from her style,” making the wedding feel personal.

Meanwhile, Travis Kelce also wore a custom Dior look. The report said his white tux was created at Dior’s atelier in Paris. The couple also wore Christian Louboutin shoes for the wedding. Swift completed her bridal look with Cartier jewelry. In a statement shared by Dior, the label called the gown Anderson’s “first couture wedding dress” for a world-renowned celebrity. That gave the Madison Square Garden ceremony a major fashion milestone.

Still, the gown details fit the larger design of the night. People reported that the venue became a whimsical secret garden for the ceremony. Guests entered through a peach-colored entrance, then reached a rose garden-inspired reception. Another section reportedly became a forest with towering trees, ferns, and greenery. In a WWD interview, Anderson called working with Swift a “joy.” He added, “It’s an emotional thing doing someone’s wedding.” For the Grammy winner, the long veil, train, and Dior finish matched the scale of the wedding without losing her own signature style.
