Millie Bobby Brown recently revealed that she has come to embrace gentle parenting because of her baby daughter. During an interview, the actress shared how her outlook changed after becoming a mother.
Before her kid, she would seemingly not have been patient enough while giving advice. However, now, she seems to be all about “gentle parenting.” For those unversed, the young actress adopted her daughter in 2025, a year after marrying Jake Bongiovi.
Millie Bobby Brown’s baby daughter has the actor embracing gentle parenting
Millie Bobby Brown’s baby daughter has made the actress embrace gentle parenting. In a preview of Us Weekly’s “Celebrity Substitute,” the “Stranger Things” star opened up about her new outlook as a parent.
“I’m honestly worried that I’m not going to give good advice. I don’t want to knock anything out of them. I’m here as a mom now. So it’s a different lens,” she said. “I think, honestly, before my daughter, I probably would have been like, ‘All right, here’s our boot camp.’”
This made the host highlight the term “gentle parenting,” and the young mom agreed. Furthermore, Brown shared that she would now want the children “to be who you are” and to feel “loved and supported.”
She then stated that her baby girl is the “apple of my eye” and that the child’s arrival has given her a “different perspective.” Now the “Enola Holmes” lead looks at everything from a mother’s perspective.
Moreover, Brown confessed that she has come to understand her parents’ concerns better after becoming a mom. “I always understood my parents and what they were talking about, but now I deeply understand what they’re talking about,” she said.
Brown has rarely shied away from gushing over her kid during interviews. A few weeks ago, she lit up when the celebrity was asked about her little one on the red carpet. A reporter requested that Brown share a recent achievement of her daughter. With excitement, she revealed that her baby girl has learned to say “no.”
