Plaqueboymax’s Streamer University has found itself at the center of fresh controversy after another creator claimed criticism of the project came with consequences. The allegation arrived just as the viral streaming event was already facing scrutiny over on-camera drama and behind-the-scenes complaints from participants.
The creator boot camp, launched by Kai Cenat to bring online personalities together on a mock college campus, has generated millions of views. But recent reports suggested the spotlight wasn’t always focused on collaboration, with several creators describing tense moments during the event.
The creator says criticism of Plaqueboymax’s Streamer University led to her removal
According to reports, creator Diva OJaysuave alleged that criticism of Plaqueboymax’s Streamer University resulted in her being removed from the event. The claim surfaced as attention was already fixed on a heated exchange involving Plaqueboymax and streamer OJaySuave during the 24/7 livestream.
As TMZ reported, the confrontation unfolded during OJaySuave’s mock lecture titled How to Be a Diva. During the segment, OJaySuave mocked Plaqueboymax over his recent “Diva” tattoo, telling him he needed guidance and even a “church bath.” He repeatedly insisted Max was “not no Diva,” while accusing him of chasing viral clips and warning him not to lose himself or “sell his soul.”
The publication reported that Plaqueboymax defended his decision to express himself however he wanted and encouraged viewers to embrace what made them different. He also questioned why someone who genuinely cared about him would criticize him in front of hundreds of viewers instead of speaking privately. After the emotional exchange, Max ended the around-the-clock broadcast to cool off.
TMZ added that the fallout continued after streamer Wardrobe confronted OJaySuave, accusing him of bullying Plaqueboymax and demanding a public apology. OJaySuave reportedly responded that he had been joking and hadn’t realized Max would take the comments so personally.
Meanwhile, The Mirror highlighted separate criticism from streamer Aishah Sofey, who described feeling unsupported during Kai Cenat’s Streamer University. She told Where Is The Buzz, “Honestly, it was just so incredibly overwhelming,” after technical issues disrupted her stream and her cameraman was denied approval. Sofey said fellow creator Cinna helped restore her confidence, telling her she belonged at the event.
Sofey also criticized how smaller creators were treated, saying, “It is so frustrating when you get invited to these massive events only to realize you’re just there to be an extra. Organizers and bigger creators really need to be more intentional about passing the mic.” She added that she declined a proposed “date stream” with DDG because she wanted to be known for entertaining content rather than “a forced ‘date stream’ narrative.”
