JD Vance’s Joe Rogan Interview Draws Sharp Criticism From Tomi Lahren

Tomi Lahren called out JD Vance over his recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience. She called his remarks on the podcast a “huge misstep.” Her comments came after Vance discussed broad political topics on the podcast.

Tomi Lahren pushed back on JD Vance’s Joe Rogan podcast remarks

JD Vance appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast after his latest book launch, Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith.

Tomi Lahren addressed the interview during an appearance on Fox Business’s Kudlow; she criticized several remarks from the podcast. She said, “There are folks in the podcast world that [Fox Weekend’s] Charlie [Hurt] doesn’t listen to anymore, and I don’t either, but I’m aware of who has much the same message. And I’ll see it in my own comments. If I make a comment about Iran or whatever, and I’m the most kind of anti-war person, America-first person that there is, but people will say, “you’re captured by Israel, AIPAC is paying you off.”

“That has become a go-to narrative for some on the right as well, and it doesn’t help when our vice president plays into it, even in the slightest bit. That Joe Rogan podcast was a huge misstep, and I hope he realizes that,” she added.

Lahren argued that the vice president should have been more careful about his remarks. She said that they could reinforce narratives that she believes gained traction among some conservatives.

Lahren also suggested that maybe Vance is positioning himself as the 2028 leader.  During the interview, the vice president spoke about Charlie Kirk; he said, “Why are young people attracted to socialism in 21st-century America? One of the best interviews that Charlie Kirk ever gave was right before he died.

“It was an episode that he did with Tucker Carlson where he talked about the fact that if you don’t give young people a stake, if you don’t give them ownership, if you don’t give them a sense of the American dream and of possibility in the future, they’re going to become socialists,” he added.
