Kaia Gerber has delivered yet another stunning look in a see-through plunging Fendi ruffle dress at the London screening of “The Shards.” On July 30, the 24-year-old arrived at 180 House for the screening in an ensemble as transparent as the one she wore to the New York Premiere, but not as sparkly. In the series adapted from Bret Easton Ellis’ novel, she portrays Susan Reynolds.
Kaia Gerber goes fully see-through in plunging Fendi ruffle dress for ‘The Shards’ screening
For her appearance at the London screening of “The Shards,” Kaia Gerber opted for a see-through black dress. It was Look 61 from Fendi’s Fall 2026 Couture Collection, which marked Maria Grazia Chiuri’s debut for the House.
Crafted from silk chiffon, the airy, light gown featured vertical cascades of delicate ruffles that trimmed the plunging V-neckline and flowed continuously down the length of the dress.
The diaphanous black fabric gave glimpses of her skin and her black undergarments, including the bra and high-waisted black briefs. Wispy chiffon panels trailed from the shoulders to form a soft, floating train behind her.
Styled on the model by Emma Jade Morrison, the dress balanced romantic movement with modern sheer dressing. This marked another entry into the list of black garments she has donned recently.
Gerber paired the sheer gown with black Gianvito Rossi “Sofia” mules, featuring a sleek open-toe front and an architectural heel. It elongated her frame while also maintaining the monochromatic color palette.
Minimalist jewelry kept the focus on the gown’s intricate ruffle texture, accented only by small, subtle drop earrings and a single statement ring.
She wore her long brown hair in an undone updo with face-framing tendrils falling naturally around her cheekbones.
Meanwhile, her makeup featured warm, neutral tones. It included soft brown smoky eye, brushed-up defined brows, flushed cheeks, and a satin rosy-nude lip that added an effortless finish to the overall ensemble.
