So, it hardly comes as a surprise that Kelce can do an impression of his friend, but fans certainly find it delightful. During an interview after a recent camp training experience, the tight end impersonated Mahomes.
Crediting his friend’s voice, which he described as somewhere between Kermit the Frog and Tony the Tiger, he specifically praised Mahomes’ cadence. He also said that the father-of-three’s play-calling, along with his voice, contributes to his excellence as a leader.
Referring to the quarterback as his “brother,” Kelce said, “I’m so proud of him for the way he handled adversity from last year to right now.” NFL fans will remember that Mahomes had to stop playing mid-season last season due to his ACL tear. However, he is back at training camp this year and preparing to play the 2026-27 season.
