Bill O’Reilly Issues a Dire Warning About Donald Trump’s Legacy After Midterms

Renowned conservative commentator Bill O’Reilly has painted a concerning picture for Donald Trump and the Republican Party in case the Democrats take over Congress after the midterms. In his latest breakdown of the country’s political scene, O’Reilly spoke on the importance of the elections in November. There, he boldly stated that the Democratic Party would ensure Trump’s impeachment if they secure more votes.

Bill O’Reilly predicts what a Democratic Congress could mean for Donald Trump

On Thursday’s edition of No Spin News, the veteran journalist explained the worrisome state Donald Trump would find himself in if the midterms don’t go his way.

“I can’t tell you who’s going to win, because things are gonna change,” he noted. “But if the Democrats win the Senate and the House, it’s over for President Trump. It’s over. Because they’ll impeach him, they’ll sue him, every two minutes there’ll be something else, and nothing will ever get passed. Nothing. So there’ll be two years of, ‘Let’s get Trump.’ That’s what’ll happen.”

However, Donald Trump does stand a chance if both parties end up with one chamber of Congress, according to O’Reilly. “If there’s a split and the Senate goes for the Republicans, that’ll blunt impeachment because you need two-thirds of the Senate,” he remarked.

The expert added, “He’s not gonna get impeached and convicted anyway. There’s not the votes there. So this thing is very personal for Donald Trump because he’s gotta know that the Republicans have got to take at least one house. He has to. Or his whole legacy blows up.”

He further added that Trump’s stance on the Iran war could see him “go down” like Lyndon Johnson, who experienced a conflicted tenure in the Oval Office following the Vietnam War. Nevertheless, O’Reilly believes Donald Trump and the Republican Party still have a chance to make things easier for themselves. “So right now, Iran [is] unresolved. Consumer price is high. Not crazy high, but high, making people not happy. And those are the things that the Republican Party and President Trump have to improve,” the 76-year-old exclaimed.
