Sandra Lee again criticized the current owners of her former Westchester estate
Sandra Lee, who visited the Westchester Estate that she shared with her ex-boyfriend, criticized their current owners. She roasted the current owners, saying their landscaping is “lazy” and “tragic.”
The cookbook author criticized the owners of the Westchester Estate known as Lily Pond, which she sold in 2020 for $1.85 million. She took to Instagram to share a video of the yard, criticizing the owners. The post drew backlash on the internet for her repeated comments on current estate owners.
According to Page Six, Lee complained about the property’s landscaping, including weeds, overgrown plants, and trees with missing branches.
While filming the property, she said, “It’s awful. It makes me so sad. Look at this disaster. I can’t believe it. You can’t even see the boxwood.”
In the caption, she wrote, “Makes me sick! So not cool – I can’t even imagine what the inside looks like. SL #lazyowners #tragedy #notcool.
This is not the first time she criticized the landscaping. According to a source, she was visibly “sobbing” and “shaken” after watching the landscaping of the property during her 2023 visit to the property.
After facing heated backlash over her comments, she disabled the comment section.
Lee moved back to Los Angeles after her split from former New York governor in 2019. She previously expressed her interest in buying back the Westchester estate property.
Lee’s continued interest in the Westchester Estate suggests the former home that she shared with former governor Andrew Cuomo holds a special place in her heart.
