Elon Musk recently went public about his interest in a collaboration involving Grok AI and Apple, the intent being the long-impending revival of Siri. The tech mogul expressed his interest in teaming up with the tech giant on November 18, garnering massive reactions online. Meanwhile, fans chimed in to extend their support towards the exciting tech crossover as they concurred with Musk’s opinion about the much-needed upgrade.
Elon Musk down for Grok AI and Apple collab
In what can be one of the most epic technological collaborations in recent times, the Tesla CEO expressed that he’s open to collaborating with Apple to integrate his Grok AI into Siri to amplify its intelligence and efficiency.
Elon Musk’s statement was in response to an X user’s post suggesting replacing Siri with Grok 4.1. Calling it “outdated” and “painfully dumb,” the X user highlighted the urgency for a better and smarter chatbot. Responding to the suggestion, Musk replied with a simple “I’m down,” indicating his willingness to work with Apple.
The idea instantly clicked with citizens who took to the comment section to offer their support while lamenting about their own experiences with Siri. “O wow… an Apple iPhone with Starlink equipped with Grok would be the ULTIMATE upgrade,” one approving comment read.
“Stop using Siri and switch Grok. I just have my iPhone lock screen with a widget for Grok and I have Grok voice to automatically open. Easy access to the best AI on the market,” another user wrote, vouching for the xAI chatbot.
Moreover, an Apple user wrote, “No better time than not later. Help Siri, she’s drowning in non-usability and over-accessibility.” Another user chimed in, “Apple + Grok?? Bro Siri about to wake up tomorrow with self-esteem and a personality upgrade.”
Grok 4.1 can be a significant upgrade for Siri. The xAI chatbot boasts improved reasoning, empathy, and creative capabilities. Furthermore, it is designed to reduce hallucinations and provide more accurate responses. If the collaboration actualizes, it could give Siri the tech-lift it desperately needs, thereby ending Apple’s reported struggles with AI development.
