As reported by US magazine, the “Independence Day” actor felt “hysterical” after meeting Lively. She said, “I ran into Blake on the street, which was hysterical because she’s such a big star now. It was a big bear hug on the streets of New York, and she was just having lunch in a cafe. Talking further about the meet-and-greet, the 67-year-old said that seeing her was “really wild.”
“That was a couple of months ago, after I came back from shooting in Vancouver. What are the odds?” said Colin. Not only did she mention that their unexpected meeting was really “good,” she also spoke about the “It Ends with Us” actor’s life, saying she is a “happy mom, and she’s doing really good.”
Colin and Lively both starred in the popular series “Gossip Girl,” which ran for six seasons. While Colin portrayed the role of Eleanor Waldorf, the mother of Blair Waldorf, Lively portrayed the role of a glamorous girl, Serena van der Woodsen. The series ended about 13 years ago.
