Sarah Ferguson is reportedly preparing to write a tell-all memoir that could cause serious trouble for her ex-husband, ex-Prince Andrew. In that, the Duchess of York is reportedly shopping around a book deal that insiders say could rival the commercial success of Prince Harry’s “Spare.” If the deal goes through, Ferguson’s memoir could prove to be both a financial lifeline and one of the most explosive royal releases in years. An insider even claimed that the former duchess desperately wants a “financial cushion” which would provide her more freedom, “no matter what it does to Andrew.”

RadarOnline exclusively reported that Sarah Ferguson is considering revealing everything about her marriage to her ex-husband, the ex-Prince Andrew, in a memoir. Hence, she is reportedly seeking a major publishing deal, with offers ranging from six to seven figures.

One source told RadarOnline that Ferguson is contemplating exposing her marriage to Andrew in the open, along with their split and her life inside the royal family. The source claimed, “She held on to journals and papers from those years.” Now, the former duchess is “convinced that what she has could secure a major payout if she decides to put it out there.”

Ferguson divorced Andrew in 1996 but has remained close to him. However, she is reportedly under pressure as her financial situation becomes increasingly unstable, with a source claiming, “She is dealing with financial insecurity for the first time in years and views a memoir as the most reliable way to steady things.”

The pair’s ongoing financial struggles have become more visible following the reported order for them to vacate their $40 million Royal Lodge home by Christmas. That, along with the stripping of Andrew’s royal titles, has left Ferguson without a permanent home after 17 years in Windsor.

One insider claimed, “She won’t hold back in any book about the truth about Andrew, which could be hugely damaging for him – but all Sarah cares about is getting as much cash as she can for her book.” Another source said she is aiming for an advance of around $14 million and is already “actively” seeking offers.

Despite the potential backlash, Ferguson reportedly “saw what Harry’s Spare did.” The former duchess “knows there is an appetite for royal storytelling told from the inside,” thus letting her potential memoir take its turn.
