Alec Baldwin’s marriage may be falling apart. This news comes amid the 30 Rock star struggling to get a good night’s sleep, and possibly dealing with some jealousy issues.
Shortly after avoiding jail time for an accidental shooting on a film set, Alec crashed his vehicle into a tree while avoiding a head-on collision with a garbage truck. His wife Hilaria, meanwhile, recently appeared on Dancing with the Stars, and some of the dances between her and partner Gleb Savchenko were apparently a little too intimate for Alec’s liking. “He’s short on sleep and irritable as usual,” says an insider about the actor’s current state.
Alec also has eight kids, seven with Hilaria, which likely isn’t helping him sleep any better.
A rep for Alec and Hilaria Baldwin called the claims “nonsense”
Reports continue to swirl about tensions between Alec and Hilaria, who have been married since 2012. Alec’s representative, however, told RadarOnline that the notion of their marriage crumbling was “nonsense.”
Even so, that hasn’t quieted the outside noise that things aren’t going well with the pair. Alec is apparently stretching himself thin in the aftermath of his shooting trial, while taking care of the kids. Since his wife’s appearance on DWTS, she’s been suffering from backlash for weeks. Hilaria and Gleb were the fourth pair eliminated from the competition.
Last month, Alec and Hilaria were reportedly seeking therapy for their marriage. Alec has a reputation as a bit of a hot head, and by the sounds of it, is having a difficult time keeping it all together. He’s had a lot thrown at him in his personal life, and all of that may be taking a toll on his marriage.
Alec and Hilaria were engaged less than a year after they began dating. Before that, the Emmy Award winner was married to actress Kim Basinger before divorcing in 2002.
