Anok Yai and Alex Consani channelled Model of the Year energy at The Fashion Awards 2025 in gorgeous strapless outfits. While it was a star-studded event as always, Yai and Consani certainly stole the spotlight with their stunning ensembles and striking presence. While the former opted for a dramatic Dilara Findikoglu corset gown, the latter went with an Alexander McQueen set with a strapless top and maxi skirt.

Presented by Pandora, The Fashion Awards 2025 honoured Anok Yai with the Model of the Year award. She arrived at this year’s event in a custom Dilara Findikoglu ivory strapless corset gown. Adorned with swathes of lace, crushed velvet, and satin, the design featured a striking mermaid silhouette.
The train emerging from the gown was a cotton, lace-lined petticoat, lending it a deconstructed, undergarment-inspired finish. She completed the look with drop earrings and a bob hairstyle with blunt bangs.
Alex Consani was also photographed at the event wearing a custom strapless two-piece from Alexander McQueen. The red-and-black set featured a low-slung skirt paired with a wrap-style top. Moreover, the top and skirt were covered with fiery red skull patterns throughout, a McQueen signature that fashion enthusiasts will recognize any day.
At the Fashion Awards 2024, both Yai and Consani received nominations for the Model of the Year award. Consani took the title home last year, becoming the first transgender model to win the award. Alva Claire, Amelia Gray, Liu Wen, and Mona Tougaard were also among the nominees last year.
In an interview with British Vogue, Yai shared that Dilara Findikoglu was her first choice for the London-based designer that she intended to work with for the event. Meanwhile, former Model of the Year winners, Alex Consani and Paloma Elsesser, opened up about how Yai deserved to win the award this year.
