Donald Trump ‘Plotting Revenge’ Against Madonna — Source

Pop and cultural icon Madonna has carried her long commitment to HIV and AIDS advocacy through every era of her career. She has spent decades speaking up about the crisis, long before most stars touched the topic.

President Donald Trump recently stirred up backlash when he told federal workers to skip any mention of World AIDS Day. His decision sparked a fierce response from Madonna.

Once he caught wind of Madonna’s criticism, insiders say Donald immediately started plotting “revenge” against her for speaking out.

Madonna called out President Trump for abandoning World AIDS Day tributes

Everything began when Madonna blasted Donald online for telling federal workers to ignore World AIDS Day, which the U.S. has recognized since 1988. His reversal shocked health advocates, and her posts angered Donald’s supporters.

Sources told RadarOnline that in retaliation to Madonna speaking out, Donald plans to use immigration powers to complicate her return to the country during her international tour. One adviser said he was “fuming” that she had “humiliated” him. Another insider said he was “incensed” and exploring ways to “dole out punishment.”

Madonna used her posts to remind followers why the day matters. She wrote: “Today is World AIDS Day. For four decades, this day has been internationally recognized around the world by people from all walks of life.”

She also challenged Donald directly. “Donald Trump has announced that World AIDS Day should no longer be acknowledged. It’s one thing to order federal agents to refrain from commemorating this day, but to ask the general public to pretend it never happened is ridiculous, it’s absurd, it’s unthinkable.”

Her message grew more personal in a later slide. “I bet he’s never watched his best friend die of AIDS, held their hand, and watched the blood drain from their face as they took their last breath at the age of 23.”

Madonna, now 67, vowed to keep marking the day. “I will continue to honor World AIDS Day.” She urged fans to “honor it with me.”

Insiders say Donald views her criticism as an attempt to “embarrass him globally” and is now using his time to weigh a strong response, which could create complications for Madonna. One touring source said visa pressure could rattle promoters since “no one wants to be caught in the middle.”
