Miley Cyrus’ dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, took legal action against a woman who claimed to be the 33-year-old’s biological mother. According to a recent report, a person named Jayme Lee allegedly filed a lawsuit in May. In it, she mentioned that she had a “private adoption agreement” with Billy and Miley’s mom, Tish Cyrus. Last month, the 64-year-old father reportedly sued Lee and denied all her claims.

Billy Ray Cyrus calls woman’s lawsuit alleging she’s Miley Cyrus’ mom ‘delusional,’ per report

Billy Ray Cyrus reportedly filed a lawsuit against a woman claiming to be Miley Cyrus’s biological mother. According to the Daily Mail, the country singer allegedly called Jayme Lee’s “delusional” allegations “false and absurd.” The latter had seemingly filed a lawsuit in May, accusing Billy and Tish of “severe emotional distress.”

In the legal documents obtained by the outlet, she reportedly revealed that Miley’s parents and Lee entered a “private adoption agreement.” She claimed that Billy might have “misrepresented the circumstances” regarding the alleged adoption. According to her, she was offered to give Miley her name and be her “nanny and piano teacher.”

In the lawsuit, the alleged biological mother accused the ex-couple of “breach of contract, fraud and misrepresentation, intentional inflection of emotional distress, and unlawful interference with parental rights.” Later in June, she stated in an amended filing that Billy and Tish reportedly “cut off all contact” and “threatened with police action” after the pop star was born.

In response to the claims, the publication stated that the “Achy Breaky Heart” artist filed a motion last month against Lee for the “purposes of harassing” his family. Reportedly, he also mentioned that he was not aware of Lee’s lawsuit until recently.

Moreover, his attorney told The Daily Mail that the rumored biological mother’s case was dismissed on December 5. “The Court dismissed the lawsuit with prejudice this morning and awarded Mr Cyrus the recovery of his reasonable and necessary attorney’s fees and costs,” the outlet quoted the statement.
