Tara Reid is none too pleased with the treatment she’s been getting of late. Police recently closed the investigation into her alleged drugging due to insufficient evidence. The American Pie actress claims her drink was spiked at a hotel bar near Chicago in November, leaving her woozy and in the hospital as a result.
She says all the alleged “bullying” she’s received is heartbreaking and doing a number on her mental health. Tara claimed to have met some YouTubers at the hotel bar, then left briefly to go out for a smoke. When returning, she claims she had the rest of her wine and then passing out shortly after.

Despite police essentially putting her case to bed, Tara insists on her claims that someone did something to her drink. She said, “Everyone is twisting reality without the facts.” Tara adds that people are making it out like she chugged her wine all at once, which, after reviewing the footage, she says wasn’t the case at all.
She goes on to tell The Daily Mail that 33 minutes of footage is unaccounted for on the night in question. A police spokesperson acknowledged there were stretches of time not seen on the tapes. They add that there was not enough evidence to support the actresses’ allegations. Days after the alleged incident, Tara said she was “willing to prosecute.”
The police spokesperson added that they could only investigate the footage they had access to for proof of an alleged drugging. Tara has previously said she felt judged because of what transpired.
Her hunch of a drugging came from doctors who she says suggested that to her when she was in hospital. She filed a police report in late November. Police say they couldn’t find any evidence of a criminal act.
