Sydney Sweeney has been candid about how her dreams work in her life. The actor recently sat down for an interview amid the success of her latest film, “The Housemaid.” She was seen discussing the project and her bond with co-star, Amanda Seyfried. Additionally, Sweeney had an interesting answer about her dreams.
Sydney Sweeney feels her brain is on overdrive now
In an interview with W Magazine, Sydney Sweeney opened up about the way she dreams. She was asked, “Do you remember your dreams?” As such, the “Euphoria” star answered, “Recently, no. I don’t even know if I’m dreaming anymore.” She added, “I used to be a really vivid dreamer. Like I could control my dreams.” Sweeney continued, “I used to be able to lay there and orchestrate and draw up all my different dreams that I wanted to have that night.”
The 28-year-old also said, “And in the last, I don’t know, year or two, I haven’t really been able to dream. I don’t know why.” She expressed, “I’ve been thinking about that, actually, a lot recently. So, it’s interesting that you asked me.” Sweeney said, “I think my brain’s like constantly in overdrive on so many other things that it finally gets to rest in a sense, or I’m not sleeping enough.” She chuckled, “I don’t know.”
Moreover, the “Christy” actor revealed how she ended up befriending a ghost in her childhood. When asked whether she believes in ghosts, Sweeney answered, “I do.” She explained, “When I was little, I used to have an imaginary friend. I would tell my mom about him, and it turns out that he was someone who passed away before I was born that I didn’t even know, and it like creeped my mom out.” She added, “I think I was like 3 or 4 years old. I just remember you’d like be on the playground at preschool.”
Additionally, she shared how she deals with her fears. She stated, “There are a lot of things that scare me, but that doesn’t stop me. Usually, if something scares me, then I’m going to do it.” Sweeney mentioned how she dealt with her “fear of heights” by jumping out of a plane and going skydiving.
