When it comes to working long hours away from home, it ends up becoming a major task for working moms. This was clearly proven by Amanda Seyfried recently. She opened up about how work-life balance is very important for mothers. After all, juggling parenthood and a booming career at the same time is no joke.
During her latest interview with Vogue, Seyfried talked about her children, Nina, 8, and Thomas, 5, with her husband, Thomas Sadoski. She discussed how she always tries to go above and beyond to make sure that she spends as much time at the farm as she can. This is all thanks to her rule about working away from her kids.
Amanda Seyfried reveals this is a non-negotiable rule if she will be working away from her kids
According to People Magazine, Amanda Seyfried has always been able to draw stringent boundaries when it comes to her kids. This is exactly why she doesn’t open up about her family life that often. However, she has made it quite clear that she loves to spend all her time with her children, which is a non-negotiable.
In fact, there is another part of this rule that she cherishes when it comes to working away from her children. Talking about it, she explained, “It’s the privilege I have at this point in my career, I can say, ‘Listen, I’ll make this work, but…I have to sleep with my kids Friday night, Saturday, Sunday — I have to go to bed with them.’ That’s my only rule.”
This rule has often worked out in her favor, giving her something special to look forward to at work. It helps her keep fuelled up all through the day to spend some wholesome time with her kids. While discussing this weekend rule, she also shared, “And it does fuel me. I mean, it probably helps them, but it definitely helps me.” This ‘rule’ is deeply admired by her fans.
