Despite her estrangement with eldest son Brooklyn, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is feeling “grateful.” She was honored with a fashion award in Paris on Tuesday, January 27.
The family has been feuding with Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, since mid-April 2022. He claims his parents have been “trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped.”

Victoria posted photos on her Instagram of her family, including husband David, sons Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper. The fashion designer was honored as a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters. “I couldn’t be more grateful. Merci xxx,” Victoria captioned the collage of images from the ceremony, which took place the day before at the city’s Ministry of Culture.
One photo had Victoria alongside David, while another had the pair gazing at each other. The photo with their sons included their girlfriends, Romeo’s partner Kim Turnbull and Jackie Apostel with Cruz.
Other photos from the ceremony included Victoria with friends and celebrities. These included supermodel Helena Christensen, friend Tana Ramsay, designer Haider Ackermann and stars Demi Moore, Anna Wintour and Edward Enninful.
In a social media post on Monday, Victoria wrote, “I have always deeply admired the French aesthetic and the seriousness with which it treats fashion: as a form of art. So to be recognized here and embraced in this way, is a profound privilege … My sincere thanks to the French Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati for this honour. Thank you also to business partners who believed in me, my family, and especially David — my husband, and original investor. I couldn’t be more grateful, you are my everything xx.”
This is the family’s first public appearance since Brooklyn took their feud public. On January 19, he wrote, “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
