Sydney Sweeney recently got candid about how she struggles with dating as a star in a new interview with Cosmopolitan magazine. While answering the question, “How do you meet people as a famous person?” Sweeney replied, “I don’t know.” She continued, “After I had a few months of just crying my eyes out, I asked all my friends, ‘How do I do this?'”
Sydney Sweeney then confessed, “I’ve never dated before.” She continued, “I’ve never even used a dating app.” Sweeney explained, “My friends who aren’t in the industry are like, ‘We’ll just go out and meet someone.'” After that, she expressed, “But I can’t just meet someone at a bar,” adding, “It doesn’t work like that.”
In the meantime, during the interview, the 28-year-old also discussed how she decides whether to keep her romantic life private or public. The actor explained, “I was in a relationship for a very long time, 17 for seven and a half years, and I never talked about it.” She admitted, “I was very private. No one would ever see us.”
After that, the “Christy” star expressed, “I think it’s important to have some things for myself.” She then explained, “I understand that I’m a public person, but I’m still in my 20s.” She continued, “I’m still figuring out love,” adding, “And it’s hard to do that with millions of people who have their own opinions of what that looks like.”
