InTouch Weekly exclusively reported that Jennifer Lopez’s ex Ben Affleck has told people around him that he has no interest in having a dating or love life after their divorce, at least at the moment.
An insider told the outlet, “He’s being upfront about it.” In that, “he’s not looking for a long-term relationship right now because he has enough on his plate and his job and his children still need a huge amount of time.”
Moreover, the source pointed to a shift in Affleck’s mindset after two divorces. With two marriages behind him, they claimed, “[He] seems totally immune to falling in love, or at least totally disinterested in that at the moment.”
Instead, the insider suggested that work was his main focus. They explained, “Ben is trying to build an empire with his new studio [Artists Equity] and walking that path alone or with just [Matt Damon] at his side, works for him right now.” And so, Affleck “has his eyes on the real prize.”
The talk around Ben Affleck’s love life has also included recent chatter linking him to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Brooks Nader. But Nader shut the dating rumors down publicly in late January.
Hence, the picture that emerges for Affleck looks like a reset. The actor-director allegedly has his attention on his kids and his work, and he does not plan to make his love life the next big headline.
