FBI Director Kash Patel Purged Iran Experts Before Donald Trump’s Strikes: Details

Kash Patel took extraordinary actions just before the President’s attacks in Iran. A new bombshell story says the FBI Director fired an elite team of agents who specialize in foreign threats from the Middle East. Donald Trump recently joined forces with Israel, launching attacks on Iran over the weekend.

Some have deemed the attacks on the Middle East to be illegal. A dozen staff members of the federal agency were recently canned. The reason behind it was reportedly their mishandling of classified documents at the President’s Mar-a-Lago residence. There is said to be no evidence of wrongdoing from those who were let go.

The war with Iran has many Americans at odds, according to reports. News of these terminations has some worried about what could happen to the US if retaliation were to occur. The New York Sun broke the story of Kash’s firings. They say the CI-12 unit was tasked with investigating the President for holding onto classified documents allegedly after leaving office in 2020. This came after he lost his re-election bid to Joe Biden.

The group is being accused of mishandling confidential documents. Among the intel in those documents was apparently Donald’s U.S. military plans for Iran. Without the special agents on the staff, some believe the country might not be able to respond to threats.

While the likes of Secretary of State Marco Rubio praised the President’s decisive actions on Iran, some politicians have denounced the attacks. Arizona Senator Ruben Gallego says that Donald is merely doing what Israel wants by going to war with Iran.

Another concerning detail for Americans is that these firings came at a time when the number of people working in the Department of Justice (DOJ) is dwindling. Their National Security Division, which includes a counterterrorism office, has lost at least half of its workforce, according to CNN. There are said to be plenty of civilians who have died in Iran due to the US military strikes.
