The man involved in an altercation with Alan Ritchson is sharing his side of that story. Things got heated between Ronnie Taylor and the Reacher star in Brentwood, Tennessee, over the weekend.
A video shows Ronnie getting pummelled by the actor. The two got into it after Alan had been riding his motorcycle around the neighborhood. Alan’s two kids were reportedly behind him when Ronnie stopped him to apparently have a chat about how fast he was going. Unfortunately, things between them were not resolved peacefully.
Ronnie Taylor claims Alan Ritchson was driving in an unsafe manner
Ronnie just wanted to warn Alan about his driving. At least that’s what Ronnie says was his goal when urging him to stop in the neighborhood. Speaking to TMZ, Ronnie claims that Alan was driving way too fast through the residential area, prompting him to confront the actor.
According to Ronnie, he had no idea that Alan was a famous actor. Ronnie alleges that this was the second time Alan had been riding his motorcycle in a dangerous manner.
He claims that he simply wanted to urge the Smallville actor to slow down and drive carefully. That contradicts what witnesses allege transpired. Some of those who claim to have seen the incident say that Ronnie sprinted down the street to try to stop Alan on his bike. As a result, Alan allegedly sustained cuts and bruises along with a minor finger injury. Some witnesses say that Alan was trying to diffuse the situation while claiming the neighbor was trying to bait Alan into hitting him.
Witnesses allege that it was Ronnie who pushed Alan to the ground, prompting the latter to retaliate. Police are currently investigating the matter with no arrests made yet. Ronnie claims that he’s an avid biker himself who was washing his ride when he saw Alan allegedly cruise down the block.
