Miranda Kerr shares her and husband’s life as parents to four boys
Miranda Kerr told Marie Claire Australia that she and her husband, Evan Spiegel, stay mindful about the bubble their kids live in and thus approach parenting accordingly. She said, “My husband and I talk about this all the time. It’s something we’re deeply conscious of.”
To keep her sons grounded, Kerr maintains one daily habit on the school run. She told the magazine she makes them spell out three things they are grateful for every morning as she drives them to school. Besides, Kerr said, “We’ve explained this isn’t a normal life. We’re blessed.”
She also does not compromise on school, explaining, “I’ve told them, ‘If you don’t focus on school, we’ll take you out and your position will go to another child. You’ll go to public school.’” Kerr noted their reaction, adding, “They’re like, ‘Err, OK.’”
The Australian model shares son Flynn with ex-husband Orlando Bloom, and she has three younger boys with Spiegel, including Hart, Myles, and Pierre. With a full house, Kerr says certain family practices help them stay steady. She said, “It’s one thing we focus on as a family. We always pray before meals, thanking God for our food and the opportunity to be together.”
The interview let fans take a glimpse at how seriously Miranda Kerr takes parenting her kids, along with all her wellness rituals. At this stage of her life, she seems focused on raising four boys with gratitude and faith, while keeping them focused on school and aware that their lives come with privileges many families never have.
