Sarah Ferguson Faces Major ‘Risk’ With Tell-All Plans Amid Scandal — Source

Sarah Ferguson‘s writing career might take a hit as a publishing insider has recently cast doubts about her plans to do a tell-all amid ex-Prince Andrew’s scandal surrounding the Epstein Files. The insider has claimed that it is a “risk” no publication would like to take considering the controversial subject.

Insider doubts if any ‘publishing house would risk’ taking up Sarah Ferguson’s tell-all

Sarah Ferguson separated from Andrew Mountabatten-Windsor in 1992, but that did not protect her image when the former couple’s connection to Jeffrey Epstein emerged in the infamous Epstein Files earlier this year. She built a career as a romantic fiction author, but any chances of a return are now dire.

A March 26 report by the Daily Express revealed a publishing insider’s claims about Ferguson’s future memoir. The source said, “I don’t think any publishing house would risk it.” The former Duchess of York has already penned two tell-all memoirs, 1996’s “My Story” and 2011’s “Finding Sarah.”

Reflecting on My Story, the insider said, “The first one examined her post-Andrew split and was viewed as quite explosive, with hints about rebellions behind the scenes and her close relationship to Diana, etc. It was a bestseller and part of the 1990s explosive memoir scene of royals ‘revealing all’. She was reportedly paid £2 – 3million.”

They further noted stated that “Finding Sarah” was “a more introspective look at her troubled childhood.” This memoir was tied to a “big exclusive” interview with Oprah Winfrey at the time. The insider concluded: “She may have nothing to gain and everything to lose.”

Besides Budgie the Little Helicopter series, Ferguson wrote three romance novels, Her Heart For a Compass, A Most Intriguing Lady and A Woman of Intrigue. All of these quickly became Sunday Times bestsellers. Rumors of her penning another tell-all memoir first stirred up last year. Whether or not that happens remains to be seen as of now.
