Kick streamer Clavicular has reportedly been arrested shortly after a video of him firing a gun at an alligator went viral. The stream was of an illegal nature, where the “lookmaxxxing” influencer can be seen firing at the reptile. However, the arrest came for a different charge, though many details remain shrouded in mystery at the moment. There could be further repercussions for the influencer who shot the alligator, which is illegal in Florida.
Clavicular arrested after shooting a firearm at gator, claims report
Clavicular is known for his extreme and often controversial takes on fitness and “lookmaxxxing.” The influencer has reportedly been arrested again on March 26. According to journalist Taylor Lorenz, Clavicular was taken in for an assault charge. Though not verified, the signs point to an altercation involving his girlfriend, Violet, and TikToker Jenny Popach.
Lorenz reported on X, “Clavicular was just arrested in Fort Lauderdale on a misdemeanor assault charge (no physical contact or injury is required for this charge).” He added, “The arrest is likely related to a physical fight between Clav’s gf and influencer Jenny Popach, who broke into the hype house.”
However, the arrest has led to some confusion. This is because the influencer was seen unloading a firearm on an alligator on the same day he was taken into custody.
Hours before his arrest, Clavicular was live on Kick. In the stream, he and his crew passed an alligator while in the Everglades (via Dexerto). One of the members questioned if they could shoot it before abruptly shooting the alligator. Asking how “dead” the alligator really was, Clavicular fired multiple shots at the reptile.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission addressed the issue in an X post. In it, they said that they will look into the incident. They wrote, “The FWC is aware of a video depicting individuals in the Everglades on an airboat who appear to be discharging firearms at an alligator.” The added, “FWC officers are looking into the incident and will provide additional information when available.”
Clavicular has been involved in multiple controversies over the years.
