Raye has always been vocal about her love and admiration for pop sensation Taylor Swift. Recently, during the iHeartRadio Music Awards, the “Escapism” hitmaker shared with Tetris Kelly that she received some “tea and tips” from Swift.
On the red carpet, Raye said she is very grateful for the support she has received for her song, “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” She further added that she is excited to see the “Opalite” singer, noting that she has had some “beautiful conversations” with her previously.

When it comes to taking advice, Raye believes in learning from the pop icon herself. At the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles, the singer shared details about the beautiful relationship she has with Taylor Swift.
When interviewer Tetris Kelly asked her who she was excited to run into, she replied, “Taylor.” Raye continued, “I’ve had the pleasure of having a couple of beautiful conversations with her, and I really, really like her. She is really, really lovely.”
She further added that she hopes to “bump into her.” The British singer-songwriter went on to share that the “Blank Space” singer gave her tips on a couple of things.
Raye revealed that she asked Swift how she manages to perform for three hours straight. She said, “She has a three-hour show, which is insane! I was like, ‘How do you do it?’” Raye added that Swift gave her “all the tea and tips.”
Raye also asked her how she keeps her red lipstick intact, as it “never moves.” She noted, “The problem is when I sing, mine goes all over my face. So I was like, ‘How do you do it?’ She’s given me some tips.”
The interaction clearly left a lasting impression on Raye, who continues to admire Taylor Swift both personally and professionally.
