Blake Lively’s Kids’ April Fools’ Day Prank Is a Classic

Blake Lively’s kids played an April Fools’ Day prank on their mother. The 38-year-old shared a story on Instagram, where the children showed off their trickster skills. The short clip featured the actress’s toilet seat covered in plastic wrap and the lid with pink markings. However, it was not revealed whether it was the four siblings’ joint effort or if it had one mastermind.

For those unversed, Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, have three daughters, James (11), Inez (9), and Betty (6). They also have a son named Olin (3).

Blake Lively shared her kids’ April Fools’ Day prank on social media. On April 1, the “Gossip Girl” alum added a short clip on her Instagram Story. It featured her toilet seat, which was covered in plastic wrap — a popular online trend. On top of that, the tiny tots had marked the toilet seat cover with pink.

To give a dramatic effect, Lively added the Disney track, “Little April Shower,” from the 1942 classic, “Bambi.” Furthermore, she wrote over the post, “I knew I never should’ve taught them how to read a calendar.” In the video, the mother of four records her kids’ prank closely. She even taps on the plastic wrap to draw viewers’ attention towards what her little ones had done.

Lively and Ryan Reynolds have been known as the fun couple in Hollywood. They have openly pulled pranks on each other. Hence, their kids playing a trick on them is not surprising whatsoever. Moreover, the “Age of Adeline” star has often shared such fun family moments with her fans on social media.

Earlier, the actress posted her and Reynolds’ Halloween looks, where they dressed up as the elderly couple from the movie “Up.” She shared a video of her transforming into an old woman. Before that, Lively posted a heartfelt note when she baked her daughter a Cinnabon bun-flavored cake, resembling the baby girl’s favorite plushie.
