In a major update, Lady Gaga cancelled her planned Montreal show after a health scare about which she shared on social media. The singer was about to take the stage on Monday night at the Bell Centre, closing out a three-show run in the city on her “Mayhem Ball” tour — but Gaga informed her fans that her condition worsened and her doctor told her not to go onstage. She apologized and explained the reason behind her cancellation.
Lady Gaga apologizes for canceling her show following health issues

Lady Gaga cancelled her April 6 show for the “Mayhem Ball” tour and addressed the reason on her social accounts, writing, “I’m so sorry to share that I’m unable to perform tonight and have to cancel the show.”
She explained, “I’ve been fighting a respiratory infection for the past few days and doing everything I can to rest and recover, but it’s gotten worse.” Moreover, Gaga revealed, “My doctor has strongly advised me not to perform today and to be honest I don’t think I could give you the quality of a performance today that you deserve.”
The “Born This Way” hitmaker also acknowledged the impact on fans who traveled, took time off, or planned their night around the show, telling them, “I know how deeply disappointing this is, and I truly could not feel worse about letting you down.” But she apologized once again, writing, “I’m so sorry to everyone who made plans to be there and support me.”
The two shows in Montreal earlier in the week were Gaga’s highlight, as she wrote, “Being in Montreal and performing for you on Thursday and Friday was magical and deeply meaningful,” before ending with yet another apology, “To everyone who was coming tonight, I’m absolutely heartbroken and so sorry.”
The “Mayhem Ball” tour, which began in Las Vegas in July 2025, is in its final days, with a schedule to wrap up on April 13 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
