Almost a year on from Ozzy Osbourne’s death, grieving wife Sharon Osbourne has put their Los Angeles mansion on the market. The sprawling property is currently on sale for $17 million, with Sharon understood to be downsizing to an apartment nearby.

Sharon and Ozzy’s LA mansion (which comes in at over 10,000 square feet) is on sale at $17 million. The sprawling property, built in the 1920s, has its own cinema room and a guest house. Inside the main house, there’s a stunning curved staircase and a huge chandelier, as well as a grand fireplace in the living room. Outside, there is plenty of space for entertaining, and the lush grounds include a swimming pool, too.
The couple bought the impressive property back in 2015 for almost $12 million. They tried to sell it in 2022, but eventually took it off the market. Now, nearly a year on from Ozzy’s passing, Sharon has decided to part ways with the mansion. Moving vans were spotted outside the property in February, weeks before it hit the market. But Sharon is not leaving LA altogether.
An insider revealed to The Sun that Sharon is downsizing from the mansion to an apartment in the city. She intends to split her time between LA and the Grade-II listed Georgian mansion she still has in the British countryside. This is so she can maintain contact with her children and grandchildren, who all live in LA.
“Sharon doesn’t need such a big house in LA any more, and instead plans to buy a smaller flat nearby so she can be close to her grandchildren when she is in town seeing them,” a source told the outlet. “She is splitting her time between California and the UK, but is constantly flying back and forth.”
The insider went on: “She loves being close to her grandchildren, but England is her home.”
