WWE star Big Show reveals he was pranked by Arnold Schwarzenegger for over a decade
WWE star Big Show confesses that Arnold Schwarzenegger’s prank lasted over a decade on the CVV podcast. Wight began by saying, “I felt like Arnold and I bonded on Jingle All the Way. I had met a childhood hero.” The WWE veteran continued, “I felt like I knew Arnold Schwarzenegger. I can at least call him an acquaintance and quite possibly a friend.”
He explained how, a few years later, he bumped into “The Terminator” star somewhere. However, Schwarzenegger gave the impression that he did not recognize his former co-star. He simply extended his hand and said, “Arnold Schwarzenegger, nice to meet you.” Wight recalls feeling disappointed but letting it pass.
Wight revealed he ran into Schwarzenegger yet again after a couple of years. The WWE star had started to become a household name and was hoping the Predator star would greet him warmly. Unfortunately, he still did not remember Big Show and simply introduced himself again.
Later, Schwarzenegger attended WWE Raw, and Wight tried his luck once more. Wight remarked, “I’m still looking for, ‘Oh I remember you. We bonded. Dude, really?’” Big Show approached him yet again. Unfortunately, Schwarzenegger simply extended his hand to introduce himself.
Moreover, according to Wight, they bumped into each other at a gym, and Schwarzenegger still wouldn’t recognize him. Big Show remarked, “I was so upset. Arnold was living in my head rent free.”
Eventually, the Big Show confessed how he was “ready to go off” on Schwarzenegger when they were reunited at the event. However, instead, the star of “The Running Man” lavished praise on his “Jingle All the Way” co-star, taking him by surprise. When Wight went to receive his award, Schwarzenegger simply winked at him.
Wight exclaimed, “He ribbed me for 12 years! That’s how brilliant Arnold is… 12 years he lived rent-free in my head.”
