Donald Trump’s Granddaughter’s New Golf Photos Raise Eyebrows

Kai Trump found herself at the center of an unexpected online debate after sharing photos from The Masters. Some users questioned whether she broke one of the event’s most well-known rules. The images, posted from Augusta National Golf Club earlier in the week, quickly gained traction, but instead of focusing on the sport, much of the conversation turned to tournament etiquette and phone restrictions.

Kai Trump slammed for clicking pictures from the Masters

Kai, an aspiring golfer who is set to join the University of Miami, shared a series of photos on April 9 that appeared to be a practice round at Augusta. Captioned, “What a special place,” the post showed her enjoying time at the iconic course, including one image of her in a pink outfit featuring The Masters logo.

Given her growing public profile and ties to golf, the post itself did not raise eyebrows at first. However, as it spread online, questions began to surface about whether she had violated Augusta’s famously strict no-phone policy.

As the images circulated, social media users quickly weighed in, and not always kindly. Some questioned the timing, suggesting they may have been taken during a practice day when photography rules are more relaxed. “Looking at the photos, these might have been taken on a practice day when cameras (not phone cameras) are allowed,” one user wrote.

Others pointed out the absence of visible phones in the background. “Not a single other phone out anywhere,” another comment read. Still, some reactions turned more critical, with one user bluntly labeling the situation as an example of entitlement, with one viewer writing, “Just another entitled Trump.”

The Masters Tournament upholds a long-standing tradition of maintaining a distraction-free environment. This includes banning phones and recording devices during official tournament rounds. However, the rules shift slightly during practice rounds. Although officials still restrict phone use, they do allow cameras. Yet, this has led to confusion among viewers trying to determine when and how the photos were taken.
