Donald Trump’s praise for younger women is generating backlash once again. The President was recently seen on his golf cart cruising through his Trump International Golf Club. A young golf content creator, Nina Coates, excitedly waved upon seeing the President in his cart with his grandson sitting beside him.
Her excitement and looks apparently caught the attention of Trump, who stopped his cart to say, “She’s in great shape.” He took the opportunity to get out and take a selfie with the girl.
Donald Trump III watched his 79-year-old grandfather fixate on the woman
The President’s complimentary nature is raising plenty of eyebrows. Upon seeing Nina, Trump got out to insist on taking a photo with her. Awkwardly, his grandson, Donald Trump III saw it all transpire in the golf cart. On multiple occasions, the President noted that Nina was in great shape. He then put his arm around her as a group gathered around them. Trump then pointed to someone and asked if that was her husband.
In the past, Donald’s over-complimentary nature has been scrutinized. Over the 2025 holiday season, he got his share of criticism for an interaction with a eight-year-old girl. The President called Anna “beautiful” and “cute” during the televised phone call. This came in the midst of the Jeffrey Epstein files controversy in December.
For her part, Nina seemed to take the President’s admiration in good fun. On her TikTok account, she called it the best compliment while adding a laughing emoji. On Instagram, she confirmed that she was married, adding another laughing emoji.
All of Donald’s wives have been younger than him, some by a considerable margin. He is 24 years older than First Lady Melania. The President turns 80 on June 14.
