OnlyFans Star Calls Sydney Sweeney’s ‘Euphoria’ Character ‘Disturbing’

The latest season of “Euphoria” has sparked intense conversation online, with viewers reacting strongly to its bold new storyline. At the center of the debate is Sydney Sweeney’s character, Cassie, whose arc takes a controversial turn. While the show has never shied away from provocative themes, this season’s direction has drawn mixed reactions from both fans and industry figures. Now, Sophie Rain, an OnlyFans creator, is weighing in to offer a critical take on how the platform is portrayed.

OnlyFans star Sophie Rain criticizes Sydney Sweeney’s character portrayal on ‘Euphoria’ season 3

Sophie Rain has reportedly spoken out against how “Euphoria” season 3 depicts adult content creators through Sweeney’s character. According to her, the show appears to dramatize the platform in ways that do not reflect reality. “They’re definitely just making it dramatic for entertainment, but it’s not reality,” she told TMZ

The criticism follows a series of scenes in which Cassie launches an adult content account and adopts provocative personas. In one moment that quickly went viral, the character is shown dressed in a dog costume while performing for subscribers. Another controversial teaser featured her styled in a way that some viewers interpreted as infant-like. These choices, Rain claims, cross a line. She allegedly stated that she would “never do that” and added that none of the top creators she knows would do so either.

The criticism did not stop there. Rain also expressed concern over one particular scene involving an infant-style costume, reportedly saying it “should almost be illegal.” That moment, in particular, has drawn backlash across social media, with some viewers echoing similar discomfort.

Despite the controversy, the show’s creator, Sam Levinson, has defended the creative direction. He has suggested that the scenes are meant to add layers of irony and commentary, rather than present a literal portrayal of reality. According to his explanation, the intent was to highlight absurdity within the character’s choices, not to accurately depict the platform itself.
