Things for Alex Cooper right now are less Call Her Daddy and more Call For Help. In recent days, she has been caught up in a very public feud with former friend, Alix Earle. And now, Dave Portnoy – who is the founder of Barstool, a media company which produces podcasts – has waded into the drama.
Brianna Chickenfry was also dragged into the feud
In case you missed it (literally, how!?), some of the biggest names in podcasting are currently beefing online. Former friends Alex and Alix have been feuding in recent days, and now Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia has also joined in. The three-way drama between the group has been unfolding across TikTok and Instagram, with Stories and screenshots aplenty.
Now, the founder of Barstool, Dave, has shared his own thoughts on the topic … and he’s staying neutral on this one.
“I like Alex Cooper. She’s a savage, but we made our peace. I get along with her,” he explained. “Chickenfry, I obviously like; she works for me,” he went on. “Alix Earle, I like. I think she’s a nice girl. So I don’t have a side in this fight.”
That said, Dave did admit that he thinks Brianna’s grievances with Alex are “fair.”
“Thank you, Lady Whistledown,” a Bridgerton fan said in response to Dave’s post on TikTok. “I’m bouncing between four different accounts and between Instagram Stories and TikTok,” someone else said, adding: “This is messsssyyyyy, I love it.”
“Dave just giggling and kicking his feet with all this drama,” a third person chimed in.
Elsewhere in the comment section, some suspicious social media users questioned what’s really going on … and whether this is all a money-making PR stunt. “You ever wonder if this drama is all manufactured?” someone asked.
