Donald Trump’s reputation for hating on female reporters might not be improving. The President took questions outside the White House on Thursday and appreciated one which came from a male reporter. That person asked the President about his policies for no taxes for employees who get tips or work overtime.
For a change, the President was happy with a question, saying, “I love this question.” He went on to praise the man, adding, “Look how handsome he is.”
President Trump called the journalist the “greatest guy”
Not all questions offend the President. On Thursday, the POTUS raved about the male reporter’s question, saying, “This is the greatest guy.” After his excessive compliments to the unidentified man, President Trump said that “Democrats don’t know what they’re doing. They want to tax everybody out of business.”
Never short on love for himself or his administration, the President had plenty to say about his government’s achievements on the tax front. He claims that under his leadership, people are pleasantly surprised with their tax returns, “getting five, six, $7,000 more than they thought possible,” according to the POTUS.
The President hasn’t always been so friendly to reporters. In the past he’s been seen as downright cruel to female journalists. In November, he got plenty of backlash for insulting one of those reporters on board Air Force One. Catherine Lucey asked the POTUS about the Jeffrey Epstein files, prompting him to respond, “quiet Piggy.” He called another female reporter “stupid and nasty.”
In his chat with the male reporter, the President trashed the Democrats on numerous fronts. He believes that, with them in power, people would face huge tax payments, and he also alleges that they want men competing in women’s sports. He adds that they don’t want voter ID, which he doesn’t agree with.
