Jason Kelce Eyes a New Genre in His Post-NFL Phase

Jason Kelce has some interesting plans up his sleeve in his post-NFL phase. The 38-year-old played for the Philadelphia Eagles for 13 seasons before officially hanging up his boots in March 2024. Since his retirement, he has kept himself occupied with various ventures. This includes a thriving career in NFL commentary and the New Heights podcast with his brother, Travis Kelce. Now, it seems like Jason Kelce is eyeing a new genre and might recruit his wife, Kylie Kelce, for it.

Jason Kelce might have plans to recruit his wife, Kylie Kelce, for an exciting new venture. During a Q&A following the Philadelphia premiere of Garage Beer’s latest commercial, The Last True Cold One, Kelce contemplated a brilliant idea for their next commercial. For those unversed, the retired Eagles center is also the co-owner of Garage Beer alongside his brother, Travis (via Entertainment Weekly).

Director Jordan Phoenix, Garage Beer CEO Andy Sauer, and moderator Marc Farzetta joined Kelce in an interesting brainstorming session for their next venture. The group suggested that after doing a Western, a martial arts film, and a take on Predator, they should explore a rom-com next. They suggested, “Maybe a rom-com, When Kelce Met Kylie, maybe something like that. Just spitballing.”

Jason immediately perked up upon hearing the suggestion. He remarked, “That’s a great idea,” clearly intrigued by the When Harry Met Sally-like title. The Eagles alum also spoke about roping Kylie into the project. Notably, this marked her first appearance in the Garage Beer cinematic universe.

The NFL star revealed it wasn’t easy to convince his wife to join the commercial. Kelce deadpanned, “You have no idea. She thinks I’m a complete moron. So we coaxed her into doing it.”

The proud husband also shared that Kylie used a Delco accent to the best of her capabilities. Kelce said, “She just jokingly did a Delco accent. I was like, ‘For sure, do that.'” For those unversed, the Kelce brothers became majority owners and operators of Garage Beer in June 2024.
