Isa Briones From The Pitt Goes off on Rude Fans Attending Broadway Show; ‘F—ing Disrespectful’

Isa Briones is trying to educate fans on theatre etiquette. The actress from the medical drama The Pitt didn’t take kindly to the conduct of some during a live performance this past weekend. Afterwards, she had a lot to say online about how some in the audience were behaving.

She called the conduct of some people “f*cking disrespectful.” Isa portrays Connie Francis in the Broadway musical Just in Time. That show is currently running at the Circle in the Square Theatre in New York City.

A Broadway show and a circus couldn’t be more different. Isa took to Instagram following her show on Saturday to vent about how she felt about the audience that evening. On a since-deleted Instagram story per Variety, she urged people, “Broadway is not a circus. Do not yell whatever you want at the performers.” Isa says that she was especially irritated when fans were reportedly shouting ‘when are you going to finish your charts’ before singing the tune Who’s Sorry Now?

In the past, Isa has taken exception to fans’ behavior. In an April IG story, she urged theatre-goers, “Do not talk to the performers while they are performing on stage.” Fans in the theatre aren’t the only ones getting hated on by stars this year. In February, Mike White blasted Survivor fans following his exit from season 50 of the show. The White Lotus creator called fans “sadistic.” This season of the reality show is in the hands of the fans.

While many may know her as Dr. Trinity Santos in The Pitt, Isa has plenty of experience performing live. She has been part of many big productions over the years, including playing Betty Rizzo in Grease and performing in a national tour of Hamilton. She previously won an Ovation Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for Next to Normal.
