The “Espresso singer” graced the Met Gala 2026 in a Dior tulle gown designed by Jonathan Anderson. Its bodice was made from countless strips of vintage camera film from the 1954 Audrey Hepburn classic Sabrina. Meanwhile, the dress’ delicate black tulle skirt had a high slit and was embellished with rhinestones.
The 1920s-inspired ensemble was completed with a headpiece that showcased the film’s title card front and center. Bejeweled hand chains and tall black pumps rounded out the look, all styled by her longtime collaborator Jared Ellner.
To compliment her high slit dress, Sabrina Carpenter also sported a short hairdo and soft glam makeup with muted red lips and shimmery pink eyeshadow.
