Megyn Kelly is firing shots at Blake Lively. The political commentator and podcast host had a lot to say on her show about the settlement reached between the actress and Justin Baldoni. The wife of Ryan Reynolds had filed a lawsuit against Justin and his production company, alleging inappropriate behavior and sexual harassment while on the set of It Ends With Us.
Reports indicate that no money was exchanged as part of the settlement, though the specific terms were kept private. Justin previously filed a defamation countersuit against Blake after initially being served.
Megyn says Blake “ruined” her reputation
Blake’s highly publicized lawsuit was filed with one goal in mind, according to Megyn: character assassination. On the Megyn Kelly show, she blasted the actress, saying her reputation is “in ruins.” She claims that all Blake wanted to do was tarnish Justin’s reputation. Megyn claims that it’s had the opposite effect, telling Blake, “You ruined your own reputation.”
News of Monday’s settlement came as a massive shock to all of those following the case. In February, talks on that front were reportedly crumbling. The initial allegations made by Blake came out in 2024. Justin filed a countersuit against those claims, saying she was trying to unjustly tarnish his name.
A judge dismissed those claims by Justin and his team. Most of Blake’s allegations were also thrown out by a judge earlier this year. There were some allegations against Justin and Wayfarer that were supposed to be heard in court in a couple of weeks.
Throughout all this legal drama, Megyn has repeatedly called out Blake, calling her a “serial fraudster.” She often compared her to Amber Heard, the ex-wife of Johnny Depp, who previously had a high-profile legal case against the Pirates of the Caribbean star. Megyn believes that Blake settled the case because it became a battle she knew she couldn’t win.
