Zoë Kravitz didn’t appreciate a joke being thrown at her online. To promote her since-cancelled show High Fidelity, Hulu poked fun at her and Harry Styles. On the show, the daughter of singer Lenny Kravitz portrays Robyn Brooks, the owner of a record store who has had a series of failed relationships. That program was cancelled after just one season in 2020.
Last August was the first time Zoë and the former One Direction frontman were linked. They reportedly took their relationship to the next level last month.
The actress and singer called the move “tacky”

It may have been posted as a joke, but Zoë isn’t laughing. On April 27, Hulu shared a series of stills from High Fidelity with the caption “Robyn Brooks definitely has Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally on her playlist.” That is in reference to Zoë’s character on the show and Harry’s newest album. On May 6, Zoë fired back at the post, saying, “This is tacky.” That Instagram post was shared by Variety and has since been deleted by Hulu.
Online, many fans appeared to be on Zoë’s side, wondering why the company that cancelled the show would want to revisit the past years later. The series ran for 10 episodes on the Disney-owned Hulu channel. They elected to pull the plug on it shortly after it was released in mid-February 2020. Zoë has had harsh words for the network since that announcement, taking issue with them axing its only program led by a woman of color at the time.
Speculation about Zoë and Harry’s relationship has been discussed for weeks. Word is they are engaged. The two were seen walking arm in arm with Zoë, sporting a shiny new ring. That has many convinced the two are preparing to tie the knot very soon. Harry is set to go on tour beginning on May 16.
