Taylor Swift Could Handle ‘Living Expenses’ After Travis Kelce Marriage — Expert

Wedding speculation surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce continues to dominate headlines, but recent reports suggest financial planning may already be part of the conversation. According to legal experts, a potential prenuptial agreement between the two stars could be far more detailed than a standard celebrity contract. With both maintaining high-profile careers and major business interests, insiders claim that protecting individual assets would likely be a key focus. Experts also suggest the agreement could address everything from property ownership to privacy protections.

Expert claims what Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s prenup would look like

Family law attorney Sarah Luetto recently shared insight into what a possible prenup between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce could involve. While the lawyer does not represent either celebrity, she claimed that agreements involving couples with significantly different net worths often follow a similar structure. According to Luetto, the wealthier spouse may sometimes take responsibility for the couple’s shared lifestyle costs while both parties continue protecting their own separate assets.

“When one party is worth significantly more than the other, prenuptial agreements frequently provide that the wealthier party will pay all of the couple’s living expenses,” Luetto explained (via Page Six). In this case, experts suggest Swift’s billionaire status could place her in that role if the couple eventually marries.

The attorney also claimed celebrity prenups often become more complicated when intellectual property is involved. Swift’s music catalog, touring business, film projects, and brand partnerships make her estate especially unique. Kelce’s growing media presence, endorsement deals, podcast earnings, and NFL career could also require careful legal protection. Because of this, Luetto suggested any agreement would likely keep their “respective estates entirely separate.”

According to the expert, the couple could still choose to buy property or invest together during the marriage. However, ownership percentages would reportedly need to be clearly defined on a “case-by-case basis.” Real estate may become another important issue since both stars own homes across multiple states, including New York, Tennessee, Kansas, Missouri, and Rhode Island. Experts claim the state where a prenup is drafted can significantly impact how it is later interpreted.

Privacy may reportedly be another major focus. Luetto suggested confidentiality clauses and non-disclosure agreements could help protect the couple’s relationship from unnecessary public exposure.
