Hunter Biden talks about Joe Biden being ‘crushed’ by DC elite
Speaking on the Thursday episode of Candace Owens’ podcast, Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden said that the D.C. elite “crushed” his father. “When they saw their chance, they did everything in their power to push him out. You know why? Because he was never part of that club. He was never part of the Epstein class,” he stated.
Earlier in the episode, Biden stated, “D.C. is corrupt, politics is corrupt.” At one point, he claimed, “You know one thing he didn’t do, he didn’t greenlight to turn Gaza into a Trump golf course, with the maître d’ being Jared Kushner.”
This is not the first time Hunter Biden has made eyebrow-raising claims related to Epstein. In August 2025, First Lady Melania Trump had threatened to sue Hunter Biden. It was for more than $1bn over a comment he made in an interview with filmmaker Andrew Callaghan. “Epstein introduced Melania to Trump – the connections are so wide and deep,” the former president’s son said.
In response, Melania Trump’s legal team accused Biden of making claims that are “false, disparaging, defamatory and inflammatory” and demanded “over $1bn in damages.” In the letter addressed to Hunter Biden’s attorney, the first lady’s lawyer also said that she suffered “overwhelming financial and reputational harm” due to the remark.
Hunter Biden later said, “These threats of a lawsuit add up to anything other than a designed distraction.” On the YouTube show, Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan, Hunter Biden further declared that he will not apologize for the remarks (via BBC).
