Influencer Alix Earle took to TikTok to post an emotional UNGWM where she talked about having bumped into her ex, NFL star Braxton Berrios.
The Hot Mess With Alix Earle star revealed that while the breakup was very amicable and Braxton is still her “best friend,” the encounter did not fail to churn up old wounds.

The post made on May 25 showed Earle “crymaxxing” as she admitted that her eyes were actually puffy from crying. She said that the meeting was fun and the former couple had joked around.
The emotional turning point came when someone wanted to get a solo photo of Earle, and she jokingly pushed Braxton away from the frame. Afterwards, she was left searching for him, thinking. “Hmm. Where is he?” Earle said, “It was funny and fun, and then it wasn’t. I think that really sucked, catching myself doing that.”
The Hot Mess podcast host called a car home and cried with her dog, reminding her millions of followers that sometimes “water just falls out of your eyes, and that’s okay.”
This wasn’t their first post-breakup run-in. In fact, the former couple crossed paths at the Palm Tree Music Festival in Aspen back in February, where they shared a warm hug and a cheek kiss.
The former couple officially ended their relationship in December 2025. The breakup was completely amicable and was driven by the intense stress of their long-distance relationship when she moved to Los Angeles to focus on her career while Berrios remained in Houston.
“I think that was a scary thing for me to realize because it meant us not being in the same place. A part of me also really wants to be focusing on myself right now,” Earle said after the breakup. “I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs,” she added.
