A new crop of performers are ready to uncover the secrets about their craft. Season 24 of Actors on Actors is coming soon with another group of A-list stars opening up in intimate one-on-one interviews. A plethora of stars in the film and television world will be shown as audiences prepare to see them in a whole new light.
Organizers are confident the candid interviews will go viral with the first set of stars featuring later this week. There’s a lot to live up to, given this season’s star power and the past success of this program.
Jennifer Aniston, Sally Field, and Kit Harington are among the guests taking part
It’s a who’s who of award winners that fans will get to see on the program this season. Variety revealed its list of celebs taking part on Monday.
The Emmy Award-winning series kicks off with a bang on June 3, featuring Jennifer Aniston alongside her Friends co-star Lisa Kudrow. The following day, fans will see Keke Palmer and Sharon Stone. The, the week wraps up with Kit Harington and Peter Dinklage.
Some other noteworthy celebs will see Rhea Seehorn feature alongside Bryan Cranston on June 9. Meanwhile, on June 12, Emmy winner Noah Wyle will be with Academy Award winner Sally Field. Two new stars will feature every day from June 3 until the 15th, with the final crop of celebrities being Jamie Lee Curtis and Mariska Hargitay.
Variety is teaming up with CNN for this series once again. In a statement, Variety’s co-editor in chief and co-president Ramin Setoodeh said they are “thrilled to once again partner with CNN on the latest season of Actors on Actors.”
This comes after an infamous town hall event featuring Timothée Chalamet. The Oscar-nominated actor, who was alongside Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey, called out ballet and opera, saying no one cares about them. He also slammed a “punk” actor during the event. He claimed the actor belittled him for his background in acting and education.
